MyHomework AI

Academic integrity

A homework tool that writes the homework is a cheating tool with a nice interface. This one is built the other way round, and here is the mechanism.

The help ladder

Help is offered at named levels, and the student can see which one they are on. Clarify the question. Give me a hint. Show me a similar example. Check my attempt. Explain the concept. There is deliberately no button that says give me the answer.

Attempt before hint

The coach asks to see what you have tried before it gives the next rung. When you beg for the answer it does not refuse flatly and it does not cave. It goes exactly one rung deeper.

The independent check

Every reply is inspected by a second, separate model whose only job is to spot a leaked deliverable: your sentences written for you, the numeric result of your exact problem, your set text translated or summarised. If it finds one, the reply is thrown away and regenerated as a hint. The student never sees the leak.

What we ask of students

Tell your teacher you use it. A tool you have to hide is the wrong tool. If your school says no AI help for a piece of assessed work, that instruction wins, and the honest move is to close the app for that task.

What we ask of teachers

Test it adversarially. Try to make it write an essay. If you find a way through, tell us at hello@myhomework.app and we will fix it and say thank you.
